Who are Black Cat Racing

Black Cat Racing was formed in 2001 To race a TVR Tasmin in the Tasmin challenge. This was a Junior offshoot of the much higher profile Tuscan challenge.

The Team was Setup by Graham and Ian Walden to Build and compete the Cars.

After Taking the Tasmin to first in class in 2004, and with a Pole position in a one off formula Ford Race the Team Purchased a Tuscan Challenge car Rolling Chassis.

This was Initially prepared with a 4ltr road car engine for 2005 to compete in the TVRCC Series. This season Produced plenty of wins and a 2nd in class narowly missing out on the clas win.

2006 would see an engine partner in Jamie Rogers From Caslte Race Engines and a new 5ltr engine. This produced a dominant season, in the new combined championship of the TVRcc Series and the TVR Tuscan Challenge. Resulting in an overall and class win for the season.

During the 2006 Season the Teams Tasmin was also run as an arrive and drive car for a number of different drivers.

2007 unfortunetly saw a big accident in testing at Cadwell park mid way through the season which effectivly ended our year.
